How to arrive from the North

  • From the Siena railway station, at the first roundabout after the station continue along Viale Sardegna towards Arezzo-Montevarchi.
  • At the second roundabout continue towards Arezzo-Montevarchi.
  • At the third roundabout go towards Montevarchi - Radda in Chianti - Gaiole in Chianti (NOT towards Arezzo).
  • Along this road (Chiantigiana) you will meet the following villages: Ponte a Bozzone, San Giovanni a Cerreto and Pianella.
  • After the Pianella bridge, continue straight towards Gaiole in Chianti.
  • After about 4 kilometers take the fork on the right towards Monti in Chianti.
  • The Locanda del Tartufaio is located on the main road of Monti in Chianti, in the center of the town.

  • From the Bettolle-Siena highway, before arriving in Siena, take the Casetta exit.
  • Continue towards Pianella following the main road.
  • At Pianella turn right for Gaiole in Chianti.
